Thank you. I too have been baffled by the endless news reports of Democratic disarray, because I just don’t see it. Presumably there’s such a long-standing assumption of disarray that journalists reflexively use the term without even thinking about it, and of course Aaron Sorkin’s line from The West Wing always springs to mind (“I don’t need enemies. I’m a member of the Democratic party,” Leo McGarry once said). But for a primary field with about a gazillion candidates crowded onto the stage, there has been remarkably little sniping and contention. In this age of virulent early-morning tweetraging from the Oval Office, it’s a refreshing change of pace.
